VEETech provided support to field personnel for groundwater and surface water sampling event at two landfill sites at Holly Spring, NC. The groundwater and surface water sampling event was a part of a long term monitoring program already in place at the sites. Responsible for collection of groundwater samples from eight wells at Red Rock Landfill and thirteen wells at South Rig Landfill. In addition to groundwater sampling, surface water samples were also collected from both sites. Total of seven surface water samples were collected. The samples were collected for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) and metals.
Groundwater levels below ground surface were taken using water level meter from all wells at both sites to develop groundwater gradient maps. Documented chain-of-custody for all samples collected to be delivered to previously selected analytical laboratory.
