VEETech was contracted by Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) – Company Owned Operations (COO) to perform and audit of environmental compliance for several facilities with respect to the following media:

      

          • Air:
                - Compliance with existing air permit conditions;
                - Annual compliance certifications;
                - Emissions inventory/permit fee requirements;
                - Compliance with work practices, personnel certifications, certified recycling,

                   and associated recordkeeping requirements for Class I and II ozone-depleting substances;


        • Water:
                - Wastewater – Compliance with existing National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) discharge

                   permit or local sewer ordinance conditions;
                - Stormwater – Compliance with NPDES stormwater permit conditions, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan

                   (SWPPP) requirements, and Best Management Practices (BMPs);
                - Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan – General review of spill prevention practices,

                   available spill containment materials, inspection and training records to ensure compliance with SPCC Plan

                   commitments;


        • Hazardous Wastes:
                - Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) – Compliance with hazardous waste permit generator

                   requirements (if any);
                - Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) – TRI and Tier II reports filed as required

                   and up to date;
                - Universal Waste – Review of disposal methods and recordkeeping.
